Tags are used for identifying what groups items belong in as used by tools like Calendar and News. Currently tags also are used for creating news and calendar feeds. A tag is a keyword, department, or group associated with the item of interest, for example the Web Team's CMS training is tagged under Web & Digital Communications.
Tags are color-coded:
- Topics are used for general subjects that are not well-defined by a department or office and are represented as green tags.
- Department or Offices on campus will be represented as red tags.
- Only official colleges within MSU are represented as a blue college tag. All others will be found as a Department or Office tag.
