How does the COPE Calendar application work?

The MSU Calendar is for events that are put on by registered student organizations, events put on by academic and administrative units of the university, and events sponsored by the university. Anyone with a NetID can use the Calendar applications to add events to the MSU Calendar as well as share announcements on MSU Today.

For Events:

Once a user submits an event, it must be reviewed for accuracy and approved by a content manager, administrator, or the Web Team. After this, the Web Team will make a final approval before the event is displayed on the MSU Calendar of Events. After this second approval, the event can also appear on departmental websites or be shared privately. Events which also meet the faculty and staff MSU Today guidelines will also be included on MSU Today.

For MSU Today Announcements:

Once a MSU Today Announcement is created it must be approved by the Web Team before it is considered for MSU Today, based upon faculty and staff MSU Today guidelines.
