When the Web Team creates your bucket, we will work with you to determine how many items your bucket should hold, as well as what kinds of items it should take. If you are unable to add an item to your bucket, it is likely the item does not meet these specified parameters. To view the bucket's parameters, click the menu icon and select Bucket Information.
Troubleshooting:
- First, please confirm that your bucket has room to add an item. If the bucket is full, you will have to delete an item before you can add a new one.
- Check your item type. Once you have opened a bucket, the tabs in the navigation bar will light up, letting you know what kinds of items can be added to your bucket.
In the image above, the Assets tab is lit up while News and Events are not because the example bucket used here can only take Assets.
If you try to drop the wrong type into the bucket, a message will appear letting you know the problem.
If this is the problem, please add items that meet the required type
- Check your item’s specifications. If the item is of the correct item type, however it is not lit up in the list, it cannot be added to the bucket.
This would occur if an image is too small or the item is missing information, such as a short headline or summary. If you drag the item into the bucket, a message will appear letting you know the problem.
In this case, the item is missing the correct image size.
If your item is missing the correct image size, please see How do I resize an Image? or What if my image is too small for the size template?
Your item may also be missing a short headline, summary, short summary, or other detail. If your item is missing one of these details, please edit your item and add the missing information. Refer to this article for help: What is the Asset Metadata?
If you are still unable to add an item to your bucket, please submit a support ticket.
